BioArt Research

In a search to comprehend my inherent attraction to the natural world, I have been researching the relationships and connections within my environment, specifically  surrounding the material specificity of my work. This exploration has included investigating elements of BioArt (such as SCOBY leather, organic plant matter, glycerin, and beeswax) and incorporations of various traditional art practice. This collaboration lends itself to further understand and navigate our everchanging ecology and the necessity of symbiotic relationships between all living things – human and non-human.
